Email SupportOpen HomStock, tap the scan button, and point your camera at a grocery receipt. The app reads the line items, sorts each product into a category (Fridge, Pantry, Frozen, etc.), and adds them to your stock automatically. You can edit or delete anything before saving.
You sign in with Apple, and your inventory, receipts, and shopping lists are stored securely in Google Firebase. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and only members of your household can see it. We never sell or share your data with advertisers. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

Make sure the receipt is well-lit, flat, and fully in frame. If specific line items are misread, you can tap any item after a scan to edit the name, category, or price. If you keep running into issues with a particular store's receipts, email us a sample and we'll improve recognition for it.
Swipe left on any item in your Stock or Shopping List to delete it. To delete an entire scanned receipt, open the receipt from your scan history and tap Delete.
HomStock is built for iPhone. It will run on iPad in compatibility mode, but the experience is optimized for phone-sized screens.
Yes. HomStock signs you in with Apple and syncs your household data through Firebase, so an internet connection is required for receipt scanning, syncing, and sharing with household members.
